Kale is one of the most nutrient dense green leafy vegetables on the planet! Packed with essential vitamins and minerals, one cup of kale can help manage blood sugar and provide folate abs b-vitamins that is key for brain development. A research study was conducted, on thirty-two men who drank a little over a half of a cup (150 ml) of kale juice every day for 12 weeks. The study resulted in lower LDL levels from 10%-24.2% respectively and increased HDL levels by 27%-52% respectively. By supplementing regular meals with kale juice can help to reduce the risk of coronary artery disease in males. One serving size of kale provides more than the recommended dosage of vitamin A and more than 40 % of the recommended dosage of vitamin C.
