Anxiety & Depression and Nutrient Deficiencies

Suffering from anxiety and depression is no laughing matter. Although anxiety is a normal reaction to stress, constant negative thinking about ones self and possible life outcomes can negatively affect your day-today living. “Nutrition can play a key role in the onset as well as severity and duration of depression”. Poor appetite, skipping meals, and a dominate desire for sweet foods are very common patterns of depression. Nutrient deficiencies in essential vitamins (B-complex), minerals (magnesium), and fatty acids (omega-3 fatty acids) have been associated with anxiety. Juicing is a great way to increasing the amount of fruit, vegetables, and water intake within the diet.
